Bible: 100% human, 100% divine.
- 100% human: written by human beings, with their own abilities and limitations.
- 100% divine. Bible is the written Word of God. Should be accepted with faith and be obeyed. Confer Vat. II, Verbum Dei 33,34, 44.
Sacred Scripture is the Word of God in human language. The thought and the words belong at one and the same time both to God and to human beings in such a way that the whole Bible comes at once from God and fromthe inspired human authors.
The Bible is historico – literary’ work. (cf. Vat. II, Dei Verbum, 12).
