1 Kings 8: 22-23, 27.
Solomon asked God to keep watch day and night over the temple he built. God decreed he should be worshipped in the temple. Solomon implored God to listen to the petitions of the people.
1 Cor. 3: 9-13, 16-17.
We are God’s buildings. Temples of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the foundation. Three reasons: (1) only in Jesus Christ can one find forgiveness for past sins; (2) in Christ we find the strength to overcome present temptations, trials and tribulations; and (3) in him can we find hope for the future.
Jh. 16: 19-26.
True worship is done in Spirit and Truth. It is based on: (1) knowledge; (2) love; and (3) obedience. False worship, on the other hand, is: (1) selective; (2) ignorant; (3) superstitious.
In this new chapel the community worship God in Spirit and Truth. In silence we worship Jesus Christ’s body and blood reserved in the Tabernacle under the appearance of a consecrated host. Here people praise God, thank God and pray for peace in the world.
